Everton were not even trying to get into any kind of midfield battle with us yesterday. Even at 1-0 they played like they were the ones in the lead, hoofing it out of bounds. Poulsen, Spearing and Joe Cole would have given us 75% possession, but keeping the ball wasn't the problem, it was the fact that we had something like three dangerous chances the entire game, as far as I recall - Salah (thanks to individual genius), Mane and Gomez header from a free kick.
Henderson, Ox and Milner are all ok individually, great team players if you ask me, but to have all three of them on at the same time against a parked bus is crazy. It's not solely their fault, but I can't help but think how much easier it would have been to break them down with Coutinho and Can.
I understand there's fatigue, but I don't get how we're not prioritising certain games over others. Klopp values all his players equally, ok, but should we then expect to see Milner, Henderson and Wijnaldum against Real/Juve because Coutinho played 90 minutes three days earlier against some ****e in the FA Cup?

Only when he was shifted out wide did we lose the momentum in thereBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

but like I said, I don't have problems with any of them and we did keep the ball and move it around well, but it resulted in very little chances.

Lads, don't worry about it as we will get the 3 points off them at their shed when they open up a bit more against us next time we play again them. So onward to Weds night as we will be in no mood to drop more points & Pardew/WBA will know this!Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Really like the way he’s managing the squad and our general play (we ran out of steam last Christmas). Sure we need more quality in key areas but Klopp is doing a fine job with the current squad. My only concern is that he is too loyal to his players (loyalty is not necessarily a bad thing) but hopefully we’ll see changes over the next two transfer windows.Another MASSIVE game

So don't other teams regularly lose players when they're in form?Originally posted by Charly View PostThe problem is keeping our players if we underperform.
All of our Fab four are gonna attract Barca or Madrid if they continue this form. Thats why we have to do some solid business in the transfer window. Was muß, das muß.

How did that work out for us last season again?Originally posted by Tee View PostI blame Mane more than anyone; thick ******* just had to Square an easy pass for a tap in for any one of three players. At 2-0 that would have been game over.
Klopp ****ed up the selection but we still had enough to have won that convincingly. He will continue to baffle with his team selections but that just sums up everything that I hate about modern day managers, always complicating a simple game. Pick your best eleven every time, next game is the most important and all that.Sack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

I'm with dom here, sorryOriginally posted by dom9 View PostHence the rotation, right?
What's the plan supposed to be...play our best players every game until January when they're all injured and knackered again? That's when we're supposed to use the squad?Sack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge
