    I can understand the need for rotation especially over the busy CL period and into Xmas but it seems to have disrupted our flow these past 2 games. We will need to wait and reflect back after this run of games to see if it was a success. Everyone will drop points bar city who are clearly a cut above the rest. We are in that next battle and i think we will be ok.

      It’s about a healthy balance, and I don’t think Klopp has managed to do that. In fact the line up for Sunday was unforgivable IMO after the midweek performance in the CL

        Unforgivable? He benched 2 players. We would have won the game if it wasnt for someone chucking themselves to ground. Coutinho or Firminio couldn't stop that.

        Unforgivable is selling everyone and doing a turd on the pitch. This was just a mistake in team selection.

          Coutinho didn't train all week. Solanke for Firmino I agree was maybe one too far. However...I do feel for Klopp, in that one of our so called 'fab four' had a complete ****ing brain melt when he should've squared the ball for a tap in. The team was good enough to win, it completely dominated, and individuals (including the ref imo ) have let him down.

          People blaming Klopp for 'killing the momentum' is also irritating the **** out of me but I honestly can't be arsed going into it. Football

            Keep it simple, on and off the pitch....trying to be too clever and scientific....I can’t be arsed with it either and in reality I have completely lowered my expectations for Liverpool FC. One thing I know for sure is that we will be consistently inconsistent.

                    43 points squandered from winning position since he took over. He does so much right, but we'll win **** all unless this stat changes.

                    He needs to get ruthless and permantely **** off the repeat offenders ie mig, lovren and moreno. Just take them on a drive and shoot the ****ers.

                        klopp keeps blaming our inability to keep a lead on individual mistakes.
                        does he not train and coach these individuals. are these individuals not part of the team unit...

                        its getting to be like the emperor's new clothes. no one wants to speak out and say what they see because our flamboyant attacking is papersing over the cracks.

                        certain aspects of our team play well, hard to fault our attack, even if we are a little wasteful at times.
                        our young full backs are generally doing well and will become decent team members for years to come.
                        our centre backs have been patchy but now they have more consistent players outside them they have been more solid, especially klavan.
                        our goalie ok but is a bottler.
                        our midfield go missing so much its seemingly impossible to find them. they are too far up the pitch as a group so once the ball has been passed around them or through them the opposition team get a run on the defence who are **** scared to come out.

                        klopp needs to realise that this pressing game is all well and good but when we are 2-0 up away to arsenal we need to tighten up and hold our ground.
                        we all know they will come out and bring the game to us and we'd then be able to hit them with our speed of passing and running, they'd be suckers for a counter. but instead we keep going forward gung ho style and allow ourselves to have a major wobble...

                        klopp has never been any good at defending or organising a team to defend but this league isnt just about scoring goals, we also need to be more intelligent and know how to stifle the opposition.
                        unless he takes off his rose tinted glasses and stops just sitting back to admire our great attacking play we will never win **** all.
                        he might be a likable bloke who knows how to be witty and have a deep hearty laugh but now its time to make us harder to beat and score against.
                        removing all the weak links makes us stronger

                        too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

                          yup individual mistakes from the same guys all the time, if it is not one it is the other. It's been said over and over and over. Break that pattern by not playing the culprits.

                          That stat is crazy squandered more points from winning positions than any team in Europe since he took over. Mentality and composure... when the going gets tough we crumble. No leader's on the pitch to lift the side when heads go down and no leader's on the pitch to calm the side down when we need to see a game out. Rinse and repeat.

                          On this forum and I'm on all the other LFC forums we are all saying the same things for the last few years now.

                            Well if it is individual errors then Klopp needs to replace the individuals. We have hardly spent any money on the defence in his time here, and we were all identifying the defence as the problem. Thinking of the defensive players he has brought in:

                            Matip
                            Robertson
                            Karius
                            Klavan

                            Am I missing anyone? That totals about £20m and about £14m excluding the GK, we really haven't been doing enough there, our priority in the transfer market should be 2 CBs and a GK.

                            If Klopp isn't capable of building a suitable defensive unit maybe we need to bring in a defensive co-ordinator in a coaching role working under Klopp to delegate to.

                              I think Klopp is coaching and setting up the team for a faster midfield (Keita etc) and dominant defence (VVD). We just don't have the personnel right now but when they join, we'll have a season of coaching around it.
