Klopp is not ruthless.
Hendo should have been moved on and replaced, Milner too. Ox should never have had the extension. Cut losses with Keita.
If we stay where we are I wouldnt be surprised if Klopp walks at the end of this season, contract or not. Then the club will find the level FSG set us at.

The issue is pretty clear to me. In the first half after a slow start we pretty much controlled the game. However, second half the freshness dipped and Arsenal dominated. As far as I can see there are no long term answers in the current squad and we do need at least 2 or 3 top quality midfielders. We all know who needs replacing. Will FSG back Klopp and the recruitment team? In the short term we need to sort out the right side of the midfield and get Salah more involved, perhaps as a 10. We need a couple of solid games, clean sheets a must, to build confidence…..after city though, as that might be asking too much.

I said it before, I think the reason we are at this point is to do with covid (didn't sell and replace anyone) and then klopp's (at the time) contract countdown.
I think because we missed chance to sell and replace during covid we missed the boat.. When people were buying again klopp was down to 2 years and I think decision was made to rinse a peaking squad for 2 years as that had a higher chance of success while klopp with us.
So I can understand why it's happened.. Most worrying thing is the high earning long contracts as everyone had said.
We'll see what happens with that but I think this dip was always going to happen, we just delayed it a bit more so now the reset could be a bit more turbulent than usual.

I think Klopp is now becoming very frustrated tired with the fact he's always having to make do with buying One premium player and the rest cheap freebies...He'll walk away from the job and FSG can then fcuk off for being cheapskates and expecting Klopp to keep challenging City for trophies.

I think that’s his choice tbh - I think the only reason he’d walk away is if he thinks he can’t fix itOriginally posted by Bender View PostI think Klopp is now becoming very frustrated tired with the fact he's always having to make do with buying One premium player and the rest cheap freebies...He'll walk away from the job and FSG can then fcuk off for being cheapskates and expecting Klopp to keep challenging City for trophies.

Nah, he tries to recover it but there was no need for the first part. “oh, he a fantastic source. Well respected everywhere”. “That doesn’t give you the right to say what you want, especially when you have no idea”. That’s just needlessly throwing **** at Did Hamann over an extremely tame quote while attempting to undermine the journalist. All very unnecessary.Last edited by Kenneth; 12-10-22, 07:54 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
