Absolutely this. He’s always said that when he feels he hasn’t got the energy to continue giving everything it takes it when he’ll decide to step down.

We may well have other CL/PL winning managers and hopefully we will and we'll love them for it too.

But no-one is ever topping Jurgen, are they?

Thanks for all the memories Jurgen, lets hope we can make a few more before the end of the season.

Let's hope at least that his last game at Anfield sees him lift the PL title again
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I imagine there's been a few twitchy FSG arses in the boardroom when Jurgen told them of his intentions.

The team and ergo the club is where it is today because of him.

And most importantly to them the valuation of the club which will probably take a dip now he's leaving.

They may top his achievements, but never the man.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Sad news, but nothing lasts forever. I’m just happy for what Jurgen has done for the club and from my personal perspective being lucky enough to have witnessed his period with the club. Eternally grateful ☺️

Very big boots to fill, but probably very good timing. Xabi looks like perfect shoe in for Liverpool, and I think Jurgen will look to take a break and then take on the German National job for the next World Cup. That will take him close to 60. All Ambitions fulfilled.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

It's been a fantastic time to be a Liverpool fan

You'd wonder what effect this will have on the team if it is out of the blue for them too. Devastating news but we all knew this day would come. I really hope this further galvanizes the team and gives us that extra push to smash the bollox out of this season and let him leave on a high. He deserves to go out a champion, we have been so lucky to have him at LFC for this amount of time what a genuine legend.

Listening to his interview about wanting to try a normal life. IMO we'll see him back in management in a few years, it's just in his blood.

I wouldn't be surprised if he went for a national job to get the best of both worlds
