It would certainly wear you down in the end, and Jürgen has alluded to not having the energy any more

I wonder what some of the new signings are making of the news? Klopp being here must of been part of the appeal. Then the youngsters might be thinking, will I get chances in the future? Might some of the established players such as Mo and Virgil decide its the time to leave? Who knows, guess we'll find out.

I don’t expect that they’re all thrilled about it, no. They’ll be at least some turnover of players in the summer, probably more than there otherwise would have been, some instigated by the new manager, some by players.

I fleetingly worried about that, but reassured myself that anybody that signed because of Klopp or flourished under him will have that extra motivation to give him the best send of. Those who are established or breaking through who might (and have been accused) get complacent, will now possibly have to push themselves again to impress the new manager (as well as all the obvious reasons ).

Decided to look on the positive side of this.

Edit: For remainder of this season I mean. Anybody who leaves in summer will pale in comparison to Klopp leaving, so not something I'm gonna worry about.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

None of the players will be happy obviously, but for all of the players we signed in the summer, it was a big step up in terms of the club they were coming to, irrespective of the manager. I’m not too worried about losing players as a result of this (this summer at least), but it will be tougher to attract players now, for sure.

While Klopp has said this season is his last...one has to retain some hope he may reconsider

He was asked that very question in the press conference and was extremely forceful in his reply. I’d say there is zero chance of him reconsidering.

Listening to Klopps press conference before Norwich where he’s all ‘I said Liverpool 2.0, that doesn’t include me’ and then going on to say the team is in a good place to do well without him.

                  It feels like getting dumped

And then being told that you’ll be ok, maybe even better. You nod and you hope, but your heart is broken

                    That’s how I feel - heartbroken haha

Grown man, kids, not sensitive in this slightest but I loved him and loved how he made football - the sport I love and my escape so much better. My fear is that it’ll never be as good again.

Do I need to get a grip?

Jurgen Klopp's last days as Liverpool boss will be followed by a TV crew for a documentary (Mirror)

We dont really have any superstars though.

Salah has one year left, and could mean 100m from Saudi. VVD I think is loyal at 32 and will see out his career here. Trent is home grown, but will bring in a ton if he leaves. I dont think he is irreplacable. Everyone else can be replaced.

Only player I would worry about is Alisson who is in his peak at 31.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Fair point - wrap them up early before the announcement ?
I make no apologies, this is me

I would really hate to see him take over that ****show at Barcelona.
And really I hope there's no way anyone considers Xavi as his replacement either. Sad man is still sporting the same Blink 182 hairdo he's had since 2001, completely mentally regressed.
