Of course there is a danger

Of course Jürgen is going to play it down

What a waste of a question

For the first part no, he will obv forfeit some contractual bonuses such as signing fees, etc. the club my require a compensation fee from another club/country but I reckon that will be a handshake deal

for the second part, it depends on who made the decision for the others to go ?

I'm sure some of the backroom staff knew ahead of this so were looking for new clubs too. A lot of the time anew manager brings in his own people with him. I mean look at UTD. They had a really good backroom staff. Moyes came in and replaced them with very special people.

I don’t think Klopp leaving changes all that much squad wise tbh, some will leave, but they would leave anyway. There are not that many better clubs who challenge to choose from.

We have smart owners I am sure they know the calibre of manager we need.

There is desperation in the media (and within the support to an extent) to go full doom on this. Life moves on.

I don't get the problem. We have a number of senior players who are approaching their senior footballing years with contracts running down. VvD will be gone in the next two years anyway - probably Salah as well - I'd be pretty disappointed if a new manager wanted to build their team around those two. They'll be bit part players in the next manager's story, whoever it is, even if Klopp stays. Of course the squad is going to change.
                Really?

                  It is a tricky one.

I personally would look to keep Becker and Virgil. Becker is ****in brilliant and has years left. Virgil is a leader and makes other players around him play a whole load better. So although lfc could cash in, and save huge wages, it might make sense for the development of the likes of Quansah, Bradley and others to keep him around.

Also, the next manager might play a back 3 for all we know. This might actually prolong the time Virgil has.

Salah is potentially different to be fair. Firstly, he will probably be offered mega bucks. Andaybe LFC will be too. It will depend on the managers plans but it will be a case of either offer him a contract extension (which might be hard to commit to under a new manager) or else sell him and use the money (and freed up wages) to look at his replacement. I'd love if we kept him to be honest but my head says that he will leave. The flip side to that might be that the saudi league appears to have become a bit of a jokeshop and where else would Mo go??? PSG to replace Mbappe??? That'd be underwhelming tbh. Barca maybe??? Again not exactly the draw that it once was.

Looking at Bayer Leverkusen, they seem to play a 343 formation - with the front 3.sometomes being 2 wide players and sometimes a #10 behind the front 2. Would be brilliant to think that Virgil could marshall the defence in the middle of the 3. I think Trent will thrive in that formation too with a little less defensive play required because of the bacl 3.

This could be evolution as opposed to revolution. Hopefully

Obviously a new manager will play a different way and will want to bring in his own players, but what we don't want them to do is change for the sake of it or for reasons of ego (I.e. they want to get rid of players because they want to make it their squad rather than Klopp's). They will inevitably bring some players in, how those are funded will come down to the budget they are given, clearly if they need more money then selling someone will be necessary Players like VVD and Salah are at the older end of the squad but would still likely command significant fees, however sale of key players such of as those would IMO be ill advised given the role they play in the team and squad. The other thing to consider in this is the director of football and the input they would have on decisions such as new players, contract renewals or sales of players, that could be as if not more significant than the manager.

As you say it's evolution rather than revolution that is needed and hopefully the new people coming in will see that.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Depends on the track record of the manager coming in with regards to young players.

The oft mentioned for the role Alonso has shown a strong leaning towards the buying (or promoting from within the squad) of young players and if they do well they stay in the team.

The sporting director at Bayer (who we have been linked with also (though I am not sure he would move) ) also has form when it comes to having the attitude of if you look good enough on the pitch then you are old enough.

Think any smart manager coming ion would look at our squad and see guys like Bradley, Quansah etc as a massive bonus and that they are good enough that manager can use transfer funds to strengthen elsewhere in the team.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Klopp falling for the old Caciedo ruse.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I’m still so, so saddened by this news. I feel that we will look back on these years as sweetest of times supporting our club. Klopp moving on will leave a massive hole and I just can’t think of anyone capable of filling it to be honest. I fear we’re in for some meagre gruel after 9 years of feasting at the top table.

                              Such is life. YNWA.

I am old. I felt the same way about Bill, Bob and first-time around Kenny. Kenny's resignation was such a shock it was announced on the London Tube for heaven's sake. But we survived Bill and Bob. First-time around Kenny left us with a lot of ageing players and some real dud recent purchases (Speedie?), which is very different from where we are today.
