Where does this one rank in the list of Klopp's achievements?

    For me, I think it's number 3.

    1. Winning the league - after waiting so many years, and in the manner in which it was won, it was peak Klopp-era achievement

    2. CL - it's the Champions League, innit

    3. League Cup 2024 - quite an incredible achievement with so many players out injured. And the shear amount of balls to put a couple of kids with a couple of minutes of normal time to go. Who in the right mind does that? And it worked!
    Oh I don't know.

Yeah, it'd be hard to argue with that ordering.

One has to hope that Klopp might be persuaded to change his mind about staying on

The top two have to be ahead for the reasons given but yesterday was special, again for the reasons you've already stated.

Would love if Alonso said he wanted to do one more year at leverkusen and would come then… and then klopp said ok fine I’ll stay for that year so. Would love to see him have one more shot at the CL.

As much as I would love Klopp to stay I think you are all deluding yourselves that he might consider it. Clearly he has thought long and hard about this before he made the decision, I don't see him changing his mind.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah he’s gone for sure. He’s not a man who acts with anything other than 100% certainty.

Could we see him return in the future in say 5 years time? I’d not ever rule it out.

I think there's more chance of him staying than there ever is of him returning.

He's a man who wants to enjoy what life has to offer when you have your health, money, relative youth and family around you.

In that respect he's extremely lucky

Yeah 100% he's leaving and he's not coming back. He's given everything to us for over 8 years.

He needs his break and then probably somewhere a bit less intense.

Ahhh yaaa I’m only fantasizing like- not holding out hope of it actually happening. In some ways I’m happy he’s leaving when on top- if he left last season it would have been very anticlimactic, and there’d be speculation on whether he’s left of his own accord or was pushed…

What a storybook ending it would be if he was to win the league- this time with a packed anfield. The league alone (with the league cup) would be amazing, if he added on the FA cup/europa on top of that, would be sensational.
