It does remind me of Kenny leaving, same kind of shock value.

Signing Speedie in the first place was a sign of something of course... At least Klopp hasn't done anything like that!

It's gutting but he really deserved to win a load more. Other fans laugh at our trophy haul, possibly warranted, as they just ignore the close calls and losing in finals etc. They don't look at points totals that would've beaten Man U every PL season and vile decisions in European finals like Ramos's assaults on Karius and Salah, plus the ridiculous hand ball in the UEFA final against Seville

          Not warranted in the slightest.

Only three clubs have won the PL since Klopp came to us and we are one of them so fans of any other clubs need to be looking at their own club's lack of a PL title there.

Only six clubs have won the FA cup since Klopp arrived and we are one of them, so that is a lot of fans needing to ask where their FA cup is before laughing at us.

Only three clubs have won the league cup since Klopp joined us and we are one of them.

Only three UK clubs have won the CL since Klopp came and we are one of them.

Seems to me that very few clubs have fans that could mock Klopp and LFC over our trophy haul.

Even if they want to try and mock Liverpool and Klopp for coming second in the league and runner up in cup finals, the obvious question back is always "And what was your club doing that season?"
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

            Yeah other fans are morons.

Klopp achieved three 92+ point PL seasons and three CL finals (plus other cup wins) in a 5 season window.

It’s incredible and neither Ferguson or Guardiola can say the same. And as you say, deserved to yield far more than 1 of each of the big 2 trophies.

It was amazing winning the league, but coming 4th in Klopp's first full season, knowing this was the start of something special, or finishing 3rd in the Covid year, relying on Big Nat and Williams when everyone had written us off, were arguably more fun.

We were a juggernaut in 19/20, we expected to win every game and we basically did. We didn't know what to fully expect in 18/19 though and although we ultimately came up short (in the league) this was new territory and exhilarating stuff.

There is not a single fan of another club who has enjoyed the last 9 years more than us IMO. I guarantee our League Cup win meant more to a lot of our fans than some of City's title wins to their fans.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I agree with all of the above, still think it's sad that there's not another couple of PL titles and a CL. Klopp and this squad should've achieved that and would've done the PL had it not been for cheating elsewhere.

Look at it another way, after 9 years with the world's best manager we haven't reeled in and overtaken Man U's league titles record. We may draw level this season, but should be on 21 now. If City are stripped of their titles they won't award them the teams that finished 2nd and that will forever grate

As we've said he deserves to have won more. Purely hypothetical but if in a couple of years City were found guilty, stripped of titles and we were awarded 2 more (not going to happen). Would that make people feel better or worse? Oddly I think for me it would be worse.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Hopefully, this change of management should be more like Bill to Bob than Rafa to Roy. The team and club are healthy. Arguably we look on the rise again. Get the appointment right and we may kick on to even higher levels.

Get it wrong and its a slippy slope!!

I have every confidence and also believe that Jurgen will have a hand in it and ensure that we have a smooth transition and if it's a disaster he can come back and get us out the ****
