I have to wonder when this Being Liverpool 2.0 docu****e was first sounded out, maybe around the time of klopp telling fsg he's going?

If fsg have insisted on it then I could see it really getting on klopps tits and he's pissed at the distraction.

FSG turned down an entire season of All or Nothing because Klopp rejected it. Why would they now insist on a cut down end of the season version of it, if it pissed Klopp off to that extent?

Klopp isn’t going say he’s running out of energy and step down, only to take another job this summer. He’s said taking a year out.

I know he cut his last sabbatical short, but I think after almost 9 years with us, he’ll stick to his plans to take a prolonged break this time.

And he’s also said in the past he’ll only manage where he speaks the language. Not coming back to England so Hermany is the only option in the future

Given what's transpired he probably regrets signing it.

Didn't he basically say before he signed extensions that he would need a break, I feel like we all knew it would end with him walking away at some point in the not too distant future. I think most of us were expecting it to be the end of his current contract.

If I read it correctly the show will concentrate on jurgens last few months as manager.

Maybe someone found out was going to break the news so they got out in front of it.

I think there's a very good chance it was going to leak hence the announcement.

Would also explain why the club were keen to get Salah back from AFCON after his injury.

There is no documentary team at the minute, that’s just something that may happen towards the end of the season.

I think the timing of the announcement is because the club are now at the stage where they need to start contacting clubs/agents/managers about potential new managers and the news would have been out there at that point anyway.

Liverpool need to start making contact with prospective new managers now.
Once clubs and agents know they’re doing that, the cat is out of the bag.

Makes sense for Klopp/LFC to control the story otherwise there’d just be rumours and uncertainty over the whole thing.
