    ...is the right answer.

We don't need a team of tricksters. Someone who can just beat a man with pace, get to the line and put in a decent cross/assist would be amazing...

Once again, as with the first leg, and despite United’s improved performance it was a contest that re-inforced the belief that Liverpool are on their way up under Klopp. They know the direction of travel.

United are going in the opposite way under Louis Van Gaal. Desperate, lacking identity – and identity is something that is so readily associated with Klopp from his unmistakeable appearance and style, personal as well as professional.

There must, also, have been a pang of regret in the United boardroom. The club had contacted Klopp when he was at Dortmund to ask whether he would be interested in becoming Ferguson’s successor and were surprised when he signed a new contract instead.

They will have been even more surprised to have seen him pitch up at Liverpool and make his first appearance here as the opposition manager and one who heaped even greater pressure on the club that coveted him. “Jurgen Klopp, Jurgen Klopp na-na, na-na, na-na,” sang the Liverpool fans again. Just to rub it in.

We're playing well and getting some good results, but Southampton away will be a good test of how far we've come under Klopp. Another 6-1 and Chris might be right, we'll definitely go unbeaten next season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think we are now on a 8 match unbeaten run with a mean defense as well, even if we lose focus against Southampton we are clearly on the right track.
          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I must admit I had a wry smile when I read that article yesterday. Not many would turn down the chance to manage at OT . . . . . unless they knew they wanted to manage at Anfield.

That was worse than Hamann for Smicer in Leverkusen. Absolutely ****ing shocking and ruined a near perfect performance.

Probably the worst sub of his career.

No idea why he went for Skrtel instead of Kolo who was much sharper in terms of fitness. Klopp sees red sometimes.
                    Are we winning?

Dejan must have had a knock?

I don't blame Klopp, I mean no-one would've thought Skrtel would've been that ****, not even the Skrtel out brigade - He has two experienced defenders on the bench and went for one that realistically before he got injured was above Toure in the pecking order. He had to get some game time at some point.

He's definitely shouldn't do it again though.

Yup, JK has to take this one. Gives "send in the clowns" a whole new meaning

Yeah Klopp made two terrible subs. Kolo should have been a banker to come on, why on earth would you put Skrtel on when he hasn't played in months? And Hendo should have been on in the midfield as we were struggling hugely with Wanyama & Mane.

Blame Skrtel and Benteke all you want but it was Klopps fault today.
