Less about Klopps style and formation, more to do with too many players being out of form and gutless. Is it really his fault that we cant string 2-3 passes together and rarely win any loose balls? Seeing him standing on the sidelines he had a face of pure bewilderment and annoyance. It's like he sees one thing in training, and when they get to the game its a totally different display. Considering how most of them played for much of the season, its beyond the pale that so many of them have decided to go out of form at the same time. Weak mentality. We see it every season. He'll give them this season to prove themselves and then its straight replacing time.

Klopp didn't look arsed last night and he just mumbled his way through the post match interview. Was a bit bizarre really. I am seriously worried the team aren't playing for him anymore.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

They love him, tip him as eventually taking over the National team.Originally posted by Cormack74 View PostKev; are you still in Germany?
What are they making of Herr Klopp over there?
Do they think he's been found out or that he has the wherewithall to get things right?
I just think people expected to much from him, he will get it right and make us competitive but his methods take time. FSG prefer his methods to buy low and coach rather than Jose who buys big and ready.
If you want instant success, go follow the Mancs or City or Chelsea.
We can't or won't go down that route. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

He was absolutely seething in the interview I saw. Really being careful about what he said though as he was so angry, maybe that's what you mistook for not caring?Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostKlopp didn't look arsed last night and he just mumbled his way through the post match interview. The team are playing for him too, we've just got too many glaring weaknesses when we lose a couple of players. We rely on high energy in midfield, yet only have one player (Hendo) who can consistently supply it and Can who adds so little he actually seems to absorb it. We rely on pushing up the pitch to compress the space for counter pressing, yet when we do Lucas is a sitting duck if he's picked at CB. We rely on having a striker who can work and press as well as being a goal threat, yet haven't got an alternative if Firmino has a dip in form. We rely on pace to break down teams that park the bus, yet only have Mane in the squad with pace.
Despite all that, we do have various plans B, C and D, contrary to what people are saying on here. We tried three different formations in the Leicester game. What people mean is we don't have a big lad up front. But we've tried that in the past with Carroll, Lambert, Benteke etc. and we're no better off. What we really need is some depth so that we're not picking the same team regardless of form when they are all fit, and so that we aren't criminally exposed when we have to pick Lucas and Can.Last edited by calvoboy; 01-03-17, 10:13 AM.

i think we need some big men all over the pitch, especially at the back and in midfield.Originally posted by calvoboy View Post...What people mean is we don't have a big lad up front....
too many midgets who get too easily chucked aside like a used wanksock.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

What does everyone mean by "mentally weak"? It seems to be one of the more prominent theories on here about our poor form. I'm unsure as what Fredo's points are. He seems a bit like a seat filler at an awards show who can't seem to just sit there and clap politely as required but insists on doing solo standing ovations in the middle of the "who died this year" section and giving constant thumbs up signs to the camera.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

re mentally weak...
i reckon too many of these lightweights just dont fancy a battle when other teams go at us and get a bit physical. they have footballing ability but are too easily put off their A game with a little bit of rough stuff from the bigger naughtier boys from those bad teams who wont play football the way we want them to.
its then a game of trying not to look too **** as an individual, just keep doing the safe pass and dont give away possession etc.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
