Yeah. We were. 2nd. About 11 points clear of 6th and in 2 cup competitions.Originally posted by Fierce View Post**** me. You absolute ******s
We were second in the league in December
Modern ****ing football fans. Cunts to a man
But you know what. We've been ****ing **** since then. And some of us don't want to bury our head in the sand at things that are painfully obvious because we were 2nd in DecemberFootball without Origi is nothing

What's happened since the end of December? Were the players expecting signings in the window and were a bit more on their toes etc, playing for their positions?
January no signings = February don't give a **** football?
If Klopp doesn't know what's wrong then I'm ****ed, and so the previous would seem as good a reason as any I can can come up with.

we all know that we are sitting ducks to a counter attack yet we dont play the right people of set up to help lessen the risk.
i criticised rodgers for not adapting his plan to get the best out of what hes got and the same could be said of klopp now...
he stubbornly refuses to consider a defensive midfielder as he expects all the players to be defending and pressing from the front. yeh, great in principle and when we are sniffing the good stuff but lately its just been crushed paracetamol cut with sleeping tablets ffs!
its so frustrating seeing us skin a top side but then getting rolled over and rinsed like a paralytic drunk with a pocket full of £20 notes in a dodgy boozer. we are shipping points like we just dont care. for all klopps rhetoric we dont see any improvement of ability to change the game.
the players dont seem to give a ****.
so many gutless pussies wearing our shirt and it breaks my ****ing heart...removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Yeah I don't think it improves the openness or standard of debate reallyOriginally posted by PTP View PostHmm it's a fair comment I'd suppose.....im sure there are managers who have been sacked with similar form
Don't think it warranted fierce to call everyone who is a bit pissed off with how we are playing ******s and cunts tho

His stubbornness and unwillingness not to change is really starting to grate. Any manager with a 2 in 12 win streak would be seriously under pressure or gone at this stage normally but we are still in the mix and LFC are desperate these days and we know there's not much better out there than Klopp.
Whatever happened with Sakho has had a huge impact on our defence this season. I don't know if Klopp was getting rid of a bad egg or that Sakho pissed him off and Klopp is just so stubborn that we've had to put up with Calamity Klavan & Lucas at CB to our detriment. The fact Milner is still our top choice LB is absolutely insane, poor ******* trie so hard but looks burnt out.
Klopp's tactics are width in the fullbacks, we have Clyne who gets in great positions but who in general has a shocking delivery & Milner who is a right footer CM playing at left back, who doesn't have the pace to beat a man and has to cut back inside every time. It's makes our main width so blunt! So we have the CB compromised & both fullbacks struggling to to exist with the Klopp's style play.
Our midfield is so ****ing slow!!! Jesus wept without Henderson's energy there is nothing there. Gini can be either brilliant or dire, it's a lottery but you can always rely on Can to slow things down and get caught out of position. All the CM's are too samey and none of them are DM are we get caught out on the counter in almost every game. So that's the CM position that has major flaws.
The attacking positions, take out Mane and they are all snails. The lack of pace for a Jurgen Klopp side is absolutely baffling. Playing one up top over and over and over and over. Firmino has put in about 3 good performances since November, just out on his feet, touch is shocking. Sturridge we all know is a perma crock and Origi hasn't pushed on at all. So that's a major issue with the attack and the tactics/setup in the attack.
And then we come to the bench, how many of us looked at that bench last night and thought to themselves, "I thought we had a good squad going into the season?". I know I did but our bench is dire.
Klopp looks deflated and out of ideas. Very worried.Last edited by danperkins; 28-02-17, 08:22 AM.

I'd still give Klopp as much time as he wants.
Yeah we were **** last night, our squad is bang average and when our star performers are off form we're grim to watch BUT he's still the man I want in charge at LFC.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Hate to break it to everyone but Spurs were **** and played (badly) into our hands. They were slow, lethargic and lacked power, but still tried to play - a lot like us tonight. Easy to beat teams like that.
Our spark has gone. For weeks we were playing the best football in the league, not just this season, for many seasons. Inferior players but playing telepathic football.
It all went wrong when Lallana got injured on international duty and the first 11 started getting broken Up.
Since then we've had issues with continho, Mane, Matip, Firminho, Henderson,
Lovers (and Sakho) And we had the worst fixture run of all over christmas.
We're now struggling to find form again, especially as we're now low on confidence (and still dealing with injuries).
In the way Leicester had the perfect storm to win it, we've had the opposite.
I'm glad we didn't buy no marks in the Jan window. I look forward to seeing what we can do in the summer. I think some of you will be surprised.
Rest of season - Origi starts please.Last edited by BG1973; 28-02-17, 08:56 AM.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The last few months have been a setback that's all. Klopp has probably had to revise his opinion on some positions.
For example Sturridge, he will clearly need to be replaced and a goal scoring CF will improve matters no end.Modifying post.

Listen, I love Klopp but it irritates me to see us setting up the same way, week in, week out no matter who the opposition is. It honestly feels like we can only win one way. We're very easy to play against and we don't seem to adapt our tactics. I stayed silent last night but I felt we showed a total lack of respect to Leicester last night. It almost felt like we just expected to turn up and we'd role them over due to them lacking in confidence. More fool us. Why on earth we played a high line against one of the quickest strikers in the league, (who loves to play off the shoulder), and not change it when it was clear what tactics Leicester were adopting, is both friggin arrogant and negligent. It showed a total lack of respect imo. Can Klopp organise a defence? I'd like to think that he can but I see very little signs of improvement and these are concerns I had even last season, but cut him some slack because he hadn't had time or a window to implement his ideas. We really are every bit as average at the back as when Rodgers managed us.
I heard some nonsense that Klopp should be sacked and replaced by Gerrard! lmao at that suggestion. There should be no talk of Klopp being sacked at all. It's an absolute nonsense as he deserves 3 years minimum imo. FSG have to go all out and back him this summer and Klopp needs to correct the mistakes he and the club made in not recruiting more players last summer and Jan window 2017. He's showed enough faith in these players and they're not repaying him. It's now time to get serious and stick a rocket up their arse.
