I think the 'committee' will act as a scouting network from here on in & offer Klopp a list of potential for him to pick & choose - if anyone thinks Klopp has agreed to anything else when he agreed to come here then they're deluded - no way a manager with the standing of Klopp would work under such 'grey' conditions

It’s a crazy discussion. It was not a problem for 10 seconds. I’m not an idiot. It’s enough that I have the first and the last word - in the middle we can discuss. We want to discuss good players on the highest level. I’m not a genius. I need other people to get the perfect information. When we have this we will decide to sign or sell a player.

Been great every time I've seen him; someone I'd take over Mig every day of the week. Managed to win the CL and the Copa whenever he played last season, too. Arguably the best GK in world football with his feet, and can actually command his box.

Always been impressed by him but Bravo is an excellent keeper too. Barca wouldn't let him go but he wants to play games. But yeah, a champion's league winning keeper is no better than Mignolet

To me him, Allen, Benteke, Balotelli are all as bad as Carroll & Downing that Kenny bought and the signings of Diouf, Diao & Cheyrou under Houllier

The thing that frustrates me most about Rodgers is the lack of a plan, with Kenny despite how bad the signings at least you could see that there was a plan (Downing supplying crosses for Carroll). Rodgers approach is very scattergun all of us in the summer were scrathing our heads about how we would play. If you look at that list of players half of them are squad players at best.

I'd say that those 5 were the definite 100% Rodgers signings.

Let alone overpaying for Benteke, it was just plain stupid to move for him, he isn't a good fit and it was plain to see way before we signed him, most fans saw it as well. Lallana and Lovren can be used by Klopp for one or two seasons but they were ridiculously expensive, which was to be expected when buying domestically.

We have spunked loads on attacking midfielders who don't know how to put the ball in the net , does not matter which one plays we get the same result.

I was dreaming that the manager can change that but does not look good for the future with what we have unless Sturridge stays fit which was the same problem as last year.

What we are seeing now is the full evolution of Rodgers team. In his time here he moved on the strong leaders in the squad and replaced them with players with no influence, experience or game intelligence.

It's no coincidence that Rodgers slowly moved influential out as imo he was scared of being questioned about his tactics and like last summer proved he blamed someone else and threw his coaching staff under a bus to save his own skin.

As good as Klopp is the fact that even he can't get a tune out of this squad says it all. Over £250m spent by Rodgers and we have a worse squad than when we were close to administration.

I only hope FSG back him and make money available. I'm sick to death of us wasting millions on either kids who never make it or overpriced premier league ****e.

For me the best approach to avoid wasting money is to focus spending on a few players / positions that will make a difference.

The easiest way to waste money is to replace 10 squad players with 10 more squad players, we will get poor transfer fees for the players we are selling and will pay over the odds for someone who is barely if any improvement on what we have, while waiting 1-2 years for them to settle / come good and repeating the process in 3-4 years time after us all moan how **** they are. Spend big on a player who is going to be the main stay of your team for the next 7-10 years that is much better value for money.
