Don't worry Cerb, you and I will always have Willy Wipers off Sefton street.
Really hope you are an ex Liverpudlian now, otherwise that sounds a lot worse than it should without some help from Google......or does it???

I’m a former Merseyside wool, lived in the city (Wavertree) for a few years in the 90s before heading to Scotland. We are here for a good time not a long time....

Still, it meant you are/were local enough to get it
I would have been further North/North east of you as lived between Crosby and Netherton village when I was the wool/OOT going to school in Liverpool in the 1980s, then much later lived in One Park West for a spell as a grown up manchild.
5 Star up the road from WW do mighty fine detailing work too. My friend in the Colonades uses them for her car and it always looks amazing afterwards though probably more for the car thread, so in the interest of re railing the derailiment, Matip is boss and Gomez is better than prime Paolo Maldini.

If we really belive Quansah is a long term solution at CB, surely it's a no brainier (if not a necessity) to extend Matip's contract? 32 isn't that old for a CB and considering his injury record and international retirement, probably has the mins of a 27 year old.
I've always been a big fan and feel he's hugely unrated, but if I'm being honest, I didn't think he could play RCB in our current set-up. He doesn't play it the same way as Konate and maybe that forces Trent to be more conservative (which is no bad thing) but he's certainly holding his own right now and deserving of his starting place. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He was available for 39 games last year and 58 the year before. He's had his injury problems, but hardly a complete crock.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostLove him, but no. He'll get injured, great when fit, one of our best signings, but no.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
