Missed his mate during the game, Robertson...he felt that he had to do the whole left side with no disrespect to Milner & Gomez...but definitely missed Robertson's runs & overlaps to give him options as wasn't happening for him in the match.

Definitely - Mane didn't get the space inside that Robertson opens up by bombing up the wing, and it also meant he was double marked more often as Gomez / Milner don't provide the threat that Robertson does

Really feel we need a proper attacking fullback to cover both RB and LB next season.

I wonder if we might go back for Lloyd Kelly if Bournemouth get relegated? If he can reasonably cover both RB and LB, he will get games, even with Neco Williams there and thereabouts

Anyway, getting back on the Mane Thread, good shout with Lloyd Kelly, a gem for Klopp to clean up & polish there!
You could see the frustration on Mane when he was getting the balls in awkward areas but still made himself to be a nuisance winning freekicks in around the Everton penalty box...pity we weren't useful on freekicks.
