Why the **** was he allowed to play on for 15mins with a concussion?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah no way should he have been allowed to play on. He was out cold there. Very dangerous.

Realistically he shouldn’t be allowed to play for 7-10 days or so after a concussion.

He shouldn't, but I bet he'll start the next game

Although he might not quite realise that is where he is.

because it's in Africa and like it or not they're about 50 years behind the modern world in many ways especially in organisation and player welfare. We just have to respect the fact it's a developing continent and it'll take a while to catch up to where we're at. If you sign African players that's the risk. They won't be as pampered as they are over here.

Supposedly he went down after scoring the goal with suspected concussion but it was another 7 mins before they took him off

                  Your ignorance is baffling.

Africa was colonised and destroyed by westernised countries for so long, left to try and recover after years and years of colonialism and infighting. This is is the reason it’s behind the rest and treating it with contempt like this doesn’t help.

Have you ever been to an African country before?
                  Are we winning?

They have concussion protocols, they just were not followed. That happens in Europe too.

I also think that attitude on Africa is probably about 20 years out of date now. Just because its hot and you see videos and photos of deprivation doesnt mean the people are all like that.

Also, it’s not like concussion protocols is something which has been in use for years and years over here, it’s just been implemented the past year or so.

To be fair, I think this still happens in in the PL. And I am not aware of many HIA incidents being reported recently, the most famous is still Salah, who had to miss the second leg vs Barca. No way has there not been another substantial HIA injury since then!

Anyway, you didn’t refute what he said, you just gave an explanation as to why. Personally, I think it’s inappropriate to suggest Africa is ‘behind’ the west, that suggests a natural progression towards civility along western ideals, which I think is a loaded colonial mindset fuelled by racism, but if you’re ok with it then that’s fine.
