Obviously a year in football is a long time, but it's not long enough to write him off as some seem to be doing (not you BTW).

He had one bad season, in exceptional circumstances.. so far this season he has 2 goals in 4 games… yes he could have had 6/7 but he’s not doing too bad at all. People need to give him a chance ffs, surely he has enough credit after what he’s done for LFC over the last few years

Not sure I agree here, thought a lot of the players had a great season in very difficult circumstances. Especially given how strong we finished.

For me, he is getting into great positions, and overthinking it. Just needs to relax...

agreed- he’s playing well to get the chances, I’m sure he’ll get his head in the right place and start putting them all away. His goal in the Leeds game didn’t matter at all for the game, but it could be huge for his confidence, hopefully.

He used to know exactly what he wanted to do when got the ball, now he seems to not have a clue what he wants to do when he gets it. Touch and shooting has deteriorated.

Needs to get his mojo back. He needs some smoke blown up his arse maybe

He's scored 2 in 4 so far which would be his best return in the league bar the Golden Boot season if he maintains it.

He's nowhere near the levels he's capable of, but I think his deterioration is being wildly exaggerated. I don't mind if he misses 20 sitters a game as long as the occasional one goes in and we continue to pick up the 3 points.

Seems he’s getting his mojo back to me. His all round game, link up play, energy levels etc is as good as he’s been for a long time. Just need to hone in his conversion rate a bit and anyway, was never really a goal scorer or poacher before.

I meant I would not think of Sadio as a goalscorer per se, always thought he was a brilliant creative forward mainly, who provides assists as well as chips in with goals. His volume of work is far greater than what he contributes in goal. That's what I mean.

He’s missed a fair few this season he normally wouldn’t but 3 in the league already and you worry when they’re not getting in thr postions to miss the chances.

If he and Mo can keep this up with Jota and Bobby chipping in we should be right in the mix this season
