An instinctive goal, sharp and ready for the rebound, was a lovely finish. Too much time to think = Bad Mane whereas Not much time to think and going off instinct = Good Mane.

I get why many are proper against Sadio. However, he is not playing with freedom, he is playing to instructions for the team. Opposing teams and managers are **** scared of him. He is normally marked by 2 players, that hives us an advantage. He drops a little deep, central or out wide and takes defenders out of the game. A lot is said of Bobby and his intelligent runs and positioning. One of the main reasons for this, is Sadio creates these spaces for him and others like Robbie bombing down the left
Footballs a team game, give your all for the team and the collective punch above their weight. We are proof of that under Klopp. Yes individual skill wins matches as well, but you need the solid foundation and tactics for this to happen

I am not sure Klopp is ordering him to mis hit passes constantly and fall over?Originally posted by Assassin View PostI get why many are proper against Sadio. I am with Kenneth, He looks a shadow of his former self, I don;t doubt for one minute he is still making the runs, getting into good positions but upon receipt of the ball its often going pear shaped for him this season._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?

Is anyone “against” him? Or are they just calling it as it’s happening? He’s been below his best level for some time now, not sure that’s disputable, is it?Originally posted by Assassin View PostI get why many are proper against Sadio. However, I’m focusing on the positives rather than the negatives of his performances for the teamOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostIs anyone “against” him? Think he looks a bit sharper this season and a little bit more up for it, especially compared to last season, but still a way off the more fluid performances he was putting in during the title winning and title chasing seasons and the CL winning season.
Something that seems almost disjointed in his play. Is like he is trying to play passes a fraction too fast or a fraction too low, like he is trying to dribble in firld when he should go wide at pace.
There are flashes of things going right for him, then it goes back to a few failed passes or runs and the cycle repeats.
Think what we are seeing with him is the difference between a truly excellent winger (him of his first four seasons with us) and a good winger that shows the same sort of ups and down of formas other good wingers (last season and this so far)
Mad thing is that his goal and assist output, even when his general play is off form, would be lauded as being special for almost any other winger in the league.
Think the fact him off form gets the same sort of goal/assist return as what would be regarded as very good for other wingers in the league shows the standards he had set for himself with us.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Totally. He is not lacking in effort or ability, and has rectified a lot of the issues (which were glaring) from most of the second half of last season.
Now the issue is he is playing Jazz to our Heavy Metal. He is at an entirely different Tempo to the rest of the team. His role is different when Jota plays though and he is involved infield a lot more which creates problems down our left.
But, overall it’s a not half bad haul from him - we just know he is capable of even more.Modifying post.

He's slowly progressing IMO each game looks sharper, more energised and a goal threat.
No he'll never get back to his peak but he can and will be a vital player for us for a long time to come.
