Thanjk you.

Africa was colonised and destroyed by westernised countries for so long, left to try and recover after years and years of colonialism and infighting. This is is the reason it’s behind the rest and treating it with contempt like this doesn’t help.
Have you ever been to an African country before?
Wow! Now that's an over reaction if ever I saw one
Why the **** was he allowed to play on for 15mins with a concussion?
African Nations Cup is your answer. Absolute amateur hour ****.
"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
Anyway, you didn’t refute what he said, you just gave an explanation as to why. Personally, I think it’s inappropriate to suggest Africa is ‘behind’ the west, that suggests a natural progression towards civility along western ideals, which I think is a loaded colonial mindset fuelled by racism, but if you’re ok with it then that’s fine.
I was merely mentioning what Bob implied, with all the contempt with his loaded comment "because it's Africa...". So maybe you should target his comments, rather than mine.
Presumably the same reason Karius was supposedly allowed to play on with concussion in the most civilised and advanced tournament such as the Champions League?

That one wasn’t so immediately obvious though. Karius was straight back up and no one realised he had suffered a concussion until he was later assessed.
Mane looked out when he landed, was prone on the ground and had to helped back to his feet and was clearly dazed and staggering around.

Mane looked out before he hit the ground, presumably had treatment on the pitch, played on scored, went down again after the goal, I believe got more treatment on the pitch and from what I've read it's unclear but it seems he was on for another 5 mins or so before they eventually took him off. He was assessed once maybe twice and still allowed to play on. IIRC Karius received no treatment or assessment from medical staff.
Also wasn't the Karius incident before the protocols were brought in (or at least widely used/accepted)?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
And the contempt he/we faced afterwards for trying to excuse why he'd performed so badly wasn't particularly civilised
Well said
The scorn/mocking/contempt/abuse he received from our own fanbase along with plenty of the UK media and fanbases of other PL teams was far from civilised.
Did not notice many talking heads on tv giving a **** about concussion and the impact it might have on the player's health in the then and now as well as in the future.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Same with Maguire.
Oh, he isn't concussed apparently. This season has been him with his brain functioning at full capacity.
