Klopp on Sadio Mane: "He's on the way back. He will be in tomorrow morning. I will need to look in his eyes and see what's possible"
His eyes... what, so he can see his longing?
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Mane strikes me as one of those players who can just keep going. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play a big role in this match.

I thought he looked a bit jaded at times during December. Even before then, he didn't seem to be getting away from defenders as easily as he did earlier in the season, although obviously he was still scoring goals which is all that mattered.

That being said, even at 50%, we should still play him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah, him and Firmino are robust for sure. We definitely need another forward of that ilk, perhaps two in the summer. One replacing the less than Sturridge.

Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

Could be the first time we start with Coutinho-Firmino-Mane since back when we were good.

Since late October right? Thats a long time to not have our best 3 attacking players on the pitch.

Just wish it didn't coincide with a dip in form for Firmino.

                      The two are totally linked.

Since then Firmino has been pushed out wide, where he is fairly ineffective. The one game he played as CF, v Swansea, where he scored 2 goals.

All this period has shown is that the reserves aren't good enough and therefor that the squad lacks the quality for us to realistically challenge for titles.

Unless we go on a massive winning run

I totally agree that they are linked. We sacrifice so much of his ability when he is played wide, but it seems like a necessity to keep a more balanced team.

But a more balanced team seems to be mean us losing more .

                          Its a conundrum.

Seems like we operate best when we have our strongest XI out (). But that if we deviate from it at all, it all turns to ****...

Its difficult to imagine how we would operate if we had Champions League football on top of our schedule.

Suspect we will see a fair few arrivals in the summer, and that next season will give us an idea of exactly what Klopp is capable of.

We are completely cursed. **** sake. Klopp saying it doesn't look good.

On the plus side we've still got better players in every position v the teams we'll play but still, any more injuries up top and we'll be fielding the youth team!!
