Can totally see why Mane was sent off even though it was unintentional - when you leave the ground with a high boot/studs up, you need to make sure you aren't going to hurt someone in the process.

1 game ban should cover this as there was no intent to cause injury.

zero intent but he shouldn't have put boot up so high and the fact he made contact I suppose made it look so much worse. I think the players reaction to the the injury had a big part of of why the ref gave the red card, it like like the keeper was dead ffs, Moss reacted straight away without thinking of taking a step back a giving himself a minute.

It's also the pace and commitment. Intent is irrelevant, he put his foot up high, studs showing, missed the ball and made contact with the goalie, at pace. It was dangerous and did cause an injury. That's the risk you take. I have no problems with the red, but I do want to see some consistency.

I've looked at it a few times and I can understand the red. Raising your boot to near head height at full pelt is asking for trouble. Although it happens very quickly, the keeper is within peripheral vision at the point he raises his foot.

Hopefully they see the slow motion video that shows Mane had his eyes on the ball at ALL times and simply deem it as reckless but without malicious intent.

By the way, this tackle got Kompany a red card and was later rescinded...
