If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

A great humbleness has come from his humble beginnings. I’ve got so much respect for Mane & so pleased he’s come out of Mo’s shadow to win APOTY award.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He is a world class player, with a world class work rate and a world class attitude. Out of all the players we have Mane and VVD would be the ones I would loath to lose the most. So often you see top footballers all over the media, women, cars, drinking, show casing their money and then you look at someone like Mane who just comes across as a really nice, quiet, down to earth guy.

Most of our lads seem to be like that though, no big time charlies. I would hazard a guess that character and attitude is a major factor when Klopp is looking to sign a player.

              No doubt.

Some talk (from fans) that we should be in for Grealish (maybe as a replacement for Lallana). I like Grealish a lot - totally changed my mind on him this season. But he has a sketchy past in terms of professionalism. You'd completely trust the club 100% to do their due diligence on him or anyone else coming in, since the squad is rammed full of good eggs, good men, great pros. It's amazing how effective the recruitment has been in every single respect.

strange you say that as was just having this conversation yesterday with few reds. Very talented guy Grealish, works hard and is much better than Villa but there is that doubt alright. I do think clubs will be all over him at the end of the season. Being Irish we knew he was talented and when he didn't declare for us we were all a bit bitter to be honest as he would walk into the Irish team but would struggle to get a regular spot in the English setup.... well that's what I thought at the time but he has been impressive this season especially his attitude on the pitch.... fair play to him.

All of us would probably love the likes of the Mbappes, Sanchos etc of the world but it must be a pain staking process in our recruitment finding guys who have talent, a certain work ethic and professionalism but who also have a certain character that won't upset the balance and harmony of the squad. For the first time in such a long time, when we sign a player I have complete faith in our recruitment.

You could see the potential when grealish first surfaced as a tiddler in the pond but didnt have some "issues" and fell off the wagon.
It's taken him a while to get his mind right, still has a ****ty hair cut though.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Hendo and some of the other boys would have a word on day one if he ever came here. I don't think he'd be in any doubt about what was acceptable and what wasn't.

The fact he's knuckled down and has stuck with Aston Villa to become the player he is now tells you a lot about his character too.

Spurs bid £25m for Grealish on Wednesday, but were told Grealish was not for sale with the player said to be "disappointed and disillusioned" at the prospect of a failed move.

But he didn't force a move or throw a tantrum, he matured and improved as a player. I'm sure Suarez was disappointed about not leaving Liverpool (in his penultimate season) too.

Why? He doesn't have to go ahead with the failed move if he doesn't want to.

                                Don't worry about it Red_Polo.

My bad jokes always get completely ignored. At least SB has acknowledged your attempt.

You should feel proud and honored.
