Why? He's been doing it all season. Everyone's entitled to their opinion of course, but I just don't understand this kinda black and white / hero or villain way of thinking. It doesn't make any sense to me.

That pass to Nunez was ridiculous.

I dunno, Mo's wife always looks a bit pissed off, she's clearly not made the connection between her lavish lifestyle and his job

The one with Trent is odd though, for all the other players we have been through with this you could see the reasons the players moved on, typically the club we're competing at the top of the game and never looked like winning trophies,in some other cases you the players had the pull of biggest side in their home country or on of the continental sides they had grown up dreaming of playing for.

Trent has always claimed he grew up an LFC fan and dreamed of playing for the club captaining the club etc., he was living that dream, and doing it in a period where the club were successful, just seems odd. If you want another challenge, fair enough be honest about it, speak to the club and find a way that works for everyone. The guy could have been an LFC legend, but has tainted his legacy.

Maybe as some have suggested it was all stage managed today, personally I don't think so. The club move on, as others have said we have lost better players before, he moves on too but looking at him today, not sure he is convinced he is doing the right thing, which given he's been working on it for 2 years is crazy.
    So well put

He could have been a bit more humble when the trophy was being passed around, it seemed like he was hogging it, knowing the cameras were on him.
He's been a brilliant player for us, but feel he's been coasting and saving himself for 18 months+ and knew he was off
    Glad he's gone.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him pine for a move back in a few years but we will have moved on. Could be another Michael Owen imo.....expect to see him play for Man City or Newcastle or Chelsea in about 3 years time and him moan because we didn't come back in for him.

    It's over.

Silly move imo and he was badly advised. Already had enough money to last a lifetime.....the way the stars aligned for him, he could have ended up being our most decorated player ever.

I'm sure you celebrated the fact that he's off almost as much as winning the league itself.

He avoided speaking to the press for half a year and he ****ing milked it today, mind you Sky pushed the narrative to generate content I guess. He’s gone, better have left and we’ve been fine. We’ll be fine again and we move on.
