I'm not sure that's how the relationship works. Selection isn't a reward for good behaviour, it is for the benefit of the team on the pitch. I would imagine that there are two factors that lead to his inclusion today, the first being that slot didn't want Bradley to play 90 mins, and the second being that Trent was more likely to help us get a result that the alternatives on the bench.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but when you're in the stadium you should either support the team or shut up imo.

It's the kind of small time behaviour we'd laugh at if it was a rival team. We should be above that.

Self inflicted and rightly so……Nobody is going to deny him a move (even though they can’t) It’s just the way he has gone about it. I don’t need to go into more details, everyone knows….

He’s leaving, fine. There’s no need for him to be in the squad.

We could put an Endo or a Quansah in as a makeshift RB. Of course they’re not a patch on Trent but they’re not a) ****ing us over or b) gonna get booed but a proportion of the fans.

I find it odd that lots on here seem to think this wouldn’t happen?!

PS - if I was in the ground I wouldn’t have booed him.

Why shouldn't he be picked? Slot isn't sentimental, he's picking the side and subs he wants to use. We're paying his wages and slot wants to ease Bradley through the remaining games then that's what happens. Who gives a **** whether Trent gets booed, it is just petty soap opera drama and the manager is above it and is getting on with his job.

Was at the game, didn’t boo. Thought it was pretty poor tbh.

We were lower SKD at the Anny Road end. A lot of the booing was coming from the safe standing next to us. I thought that was mainly season ticket holders who should know better.

The only other time I remember the fans booing was when we lost 0-1 to Wolves under Hodgson. PFK played. It was all kicking off in the upper Anny Road that day.

HE probably got a fat signing on fee worth tens of millions. Im not sure any of us wouldnt do the same thing. I doubt MAdrid would have spent money on him. Still not clear what he is adding to their team, or what position he is going to be playing.

What would anger me is if he starts busting a gut there, because he hasnt been doing that here for a while.

Should've taken Bradley off and put Jones at RB rather than bring Trent on.

Coutinho signed a new deal to pin value to any future deal, Trent has weakened us in the transfer market by limiting the amount we have to spend to replace him. He's a snake
