I'm of the opinion he can do better but I think last night he played well I thought. He was one of the few who were willing to play on the front foot, turning on the ball and attacking. He also presses the ball and player well and doesn't lunge in with tackles.
His miss was unfortunate but he's also scored some crucial goals for us this year. He could still do more though. I think people see him as being lazy as he's a bit of a midget so has tiny legs, therefore it doesn't look like he's moving with any great speed. He does need to deliver more goals though.

If you're up for criticising players then you should be up for some criticism yourself.

It was great and interesting, was that before or after I got told to **** offOriginally posted by Pepe79 View PostA second ago it was great and interesting debate, now it’s people being irrationally offended?
Whatever it is, you are definitely a common factor as far as I can see. So maybe some shared responsibility with these other posters waiting in the wings?
? A quick scoot back and you will see who started this because someone made a joke, others chimed in and I'm just responding to yourself now. I feel this is one of those times when someone responds to a posters handle and their preconceived opinions rather than the post or posts themselves

Not saying this is true of Dan or notOriginally posted by Fredo View PostIt’s just your frustration boiling over and you’ve got to target players you don’t like just because you need an outlet.
However… this is quite insightful. I’ve never quite considered it in these terms, and I suppose we all do it a bit. I go to a few Hearts games and this sums up literally about at least 5000 supporters every match day
I can find that grinding also and occasionally literally counter productive to performance when it boils over. On o re ther occasions it ignites something. But more often it’s good play that gets the crowd going. Or the ref ****ing something up!
I suspect the same at grounds all over the land particularly lower leagues where the going can be a bit stodgy.Last edited by Buzzo; 10-05-22, 11:49 PM.

Disagree, just same posters waiting in the wings getting irrationally offended and itching to have a pop over and over and over.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostIn your case it often seems to spark spats more than anything?
Usually the same one, over and over.
Different ideas of whats interesting maybe.

Re: the missed chance, absolutely not. He seemed pretty annoyed with himself at that.Originally posted by Fredo View PostCome on, that’s not true. You are picking on a player probably because he missed a sitter?
The team won a game of football and can still potentially win all competitions setting an unprecedented feat, and all you come up with is that one element of that great team is lazy and plays like a 40 year old?
Nice and constructive.
He failed to find a teammate or clear the ball upfield on numerous occasions, and was particularly wasteful in possession on the right flank..I can recall 3 occasions towards the end of the game where he relinquished possession in our half, putting us under immediate pressure.
The 40yr old gag was obviously just a conversation starter and meant in total jest of course

Jeez man his comment was kinda funny. Your so offended and outraged by that or any criticism of any player but manage to tell me to **** off twiceOriginally posted by Fredo View PostCome on, that’s not true. You are picking on a player probably because he missed a sitter?

No problem with fair criticism. There is a lot crap spouted on here though.

Did I say you did?Originally posted by danperkins View PostYou do realise I didn't open the thread back up again. Also, the last post I said about him before this game, which is on page 77 the previous page, I said he was outstanding and it's the best game he's played for us sooooooo
Credit when it's due and criticism when it is due... it's not a big deal really is it ? Only a few sensitive souls that get outraged at opinions they don't agree with
