we’ve seen him slowly integrate players and Naby has yet to play as one of the two pivots in a 4-2-3-1 for us. He’s played wide left or in one of the 3 earlier this season in the 4-3-3.

It might be next year until we start to see the real Naby.

I don't think slow integration can be used as an excuse to Naby. He started the season.

yeah unfortunately I think it's a case of him just not playing that well/not adapting & other players playing well and keeping him out of the side.

He looks short on confidence to me, the way he's going down so easily would imply he's lacking a bit of mental toughness. He's obviously a physically strong player and a clear talent but I think he needs to get his head sorted first then we'll start to see the best of him.

If he doesnt get his mind right he will get fed up and maybe fancy bailing out.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

I think that's one of the main factors in his slow start, and it's pretty alarming / amazing that he had a year to start learning and didn't bother.
                Thanks very much for being

Not everyone can learn a language, regardless of the time and effort put in. Like I said above about Tevez, he couldn't speak it after how many years, but still performed at a world class level.

Come on, pretty much every one learns a language. Learning a second one is a choice (I haven't but even I can speak a little German and French, after not a lot of effort).
                        Really?

That's your ability to learn though. BTW, I'm on about a second language.

ok, but my point is that learning how to communicate is quite basic - babies learn how to do it. He could if he had to - it's a shame if he feels he doesn't have to. BTW I suspect Bobby hasn't learnt any English - doesn't seem to hold him back.

a loan swap for Coutinho til the end of the season would suit all parties imo

It really would. That wee scroat, Phil isn't going to earn us 40odd million in fees at this rate. Rumours are they want to cash in already.
