It was an immense goal, and an overall very good performance from him.

His take on the atmosphere last night:

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I can't stop watching his goal.

Feel like he is definitely needed in our midfield , his directness and pace are major assets when we break.

          Going up top negated him

Not a criticism, but he's been quite crap any time we've needed to play him out wide.

How long did Wenger have him for without getting the best from him?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He gave us a real glimpse of his potential last night with that turn and drive at the city defence after his goal. He should have played Bobby in though. He is much better than I thought he was.

I think he will be a major player for us in the future. He's versatile, quick, dynamic and seems a good egg, plus he fills the English quota. We really got a good deal IMO.

We had an all English midfield again last night. None of them are considered first choice for England mind

decision making could have been better - should have put firmino in when given the chance

That's right, and with TAA in defence, Robertson and than Solanke playing part, I'd say it's a surprisingly British team.

Hendo is, from what I've read? In fact, one of the news outlets mentioned he was up for consideration as captain, along with one of the defenders, can't think which one now.

Lallana and Gomez would've gone to the WC too. Gomez still might

                              Damned with faint praise

Gotta be a lot of Arsenal players......past and present......thinking, 'maybe I should have left Wenger behind ?'
