That pass in the 25th minute was pretty tidy.

to be expected but somewhat disappointing all the same hope he has not done his hamstring that would be a massive kick in the nutsack for the lad

Seems like it was a precaution to take him off, as he felt a little tightness in his hammy.

Nevertheless, it shows how a game situation is far different in terms of intensity, and we shouldn't be dreaming of an Ox screamer to win us the title. Let his body recover properly, and get him back next season.

Yep. I don't think we'll see anywhere near the best of him this season. There are other players that we should consider before him. It's too much pressure too soon.
              Are we winning?

Yep the problem with the U23’s is that they don’t have another competitive match until April. They’ll probably have a trail match or two behind closed doors according to the LFCTV commentators.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Has there been any more news on Ox’s condition? Was him being taken off a setback or just a precaution?
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

His withdrawal was purely precautionary, however, and Klopp has insisted that there is absolutely nothing to be concerned about.

“It’s not really surprising, it’s normal. The good news is the knee is perfect – nothing happened, that was our only concern,” he told the club’s official website.

“Football games are different to football training, that’s why he felt the muscle a little bit, and thank God we were smart enough to take him off, even if it was only five minutes earlier than we thought.

“That made absolute sense. Nothing else happened.

“We always said he needs time. Maybe I’m a bit guilty for being too excited about it: if nobody asked me I wouldn’t start talking about Ox, to be honest, but they ask me and I say the truth – and the truth was it looked so exciting in training.

“But it’s only small-sided games, shooting situations and all that but, at the end of the day, we all need to make sure we are ready for the big-size pitch.”

The Ox being back for the final stages of the Champions League this season will be beautiful karma.

100% fit for more training and U23 matches, I think that means. He must be miles off a first-team return.
