I think he’s an excellent player and I hope it works out for him at Barca. If it doesn’t, I’d expect City, Utd and Chelsea to be in for him. Can’t see Klopp being interested - let down by his attitude before he left Anfield.

We wanted Van Dijk last summer before we sold Coutinho. We made 70 million last year in the CL and getting another 50 odd this year at least. I reckon we'd have still got him.

The fact our outgoings in the summer like Ings/Karius were classed as loans as we dont need the money on our books yet suggests we are in a better position than planned.

Not going too well for him at there and was in the form of his life before he left. Oh dear.

What a team we could/should have had.

    ------------Becker
    TAA--Gomez--VVD--Robertson
    -----------Fabinho
    ------Keita-------Coutinho
    -Salah----Firmino------Mane

Just checked and they didn't win where he's not featured going back to mid November. Doesn't appear to be starting many games, and he doesn't seem to be scoring

    But apart from that?
