So pleased we signed a player to play this role and fabinho does it so well.
We havent really had anyone doing this since... maybe since gerrard lost his pace and was moved into the back three.
Fabinho isnt running around the pitch like a rampaging gerrard, but just controls the middle.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Based on his attributes we haven't had a player like this in over 20 years. He's different from Alonso, Mash, Sissoko and all of them.
