He's got it all, apart from the fact that he moves with the speed of a tectonic plate. He's had a good game today, but his lack of pace was an apparent issue on one or two occasions. I think he'll only get better though.

He's great at tackling and intercepting but I still don't think he's good enough on the ball, not quick enough, not showing for it always (could be a lack of confidence after a challenging start) and at times just way too conservative.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
Other times, he does try and get the ball up front quick but these are usually long balls with mixed results.
It would be interesting to see how many times he turned the ball over yesterday.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

This is the Fabinho thread mate - think you meant to post in the Henderson oneOriginally posted by Corndog View PostHe's great at tackling and intercepting but I still don't think he's good enough on the ball, not quick enough, not showing for it always (could be a lack of confidence after a challenging start) and at times just way too conservative.

It would be interesting to see how many times he turned the ball over yesterday.Granted those statistics are outdated now, but IIRC those stats were consistent with his Monaco performances.Originally posted by Irishnev View Posthttps://twitter.com/simonbrundish/st...94683314503680
In the time Fab has been on the pitch for Liverpoool this season, he passes the ball to one of our forwards with 31% of his passes
Hendo and Wijnaldum 12.6 and 12.9%If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

An astute observation. Like hendo, I don't think he's a rubbish player but he has appeared so far to have the same style/limitations as Henderson.Originally posted by fidget View PostThis is the Fabinho thread mate - think you meant to post in the Henderson one

His stats shat over Gomes but for some reason he was rated as the best player on the pitch.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

Fabinho is starting to look good and consistently so. Also I agree that Henderson is more suited to the more advanced role, hopefully he plays that position more when he is in the side.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
