Thanjk you.

Seriously? He was pivotal in winning Monaco the league. A team that also included Mbappe.
So was Timoue Bakayoko. I don't necessarily think being in a title winning team or playing with Mbappe mean much. Although the former is often a good indicator.
To clarify, I'm not saying Fabinho is **** or that he's not up to playing in the team. Just that based on what I have seen so far, 40 mil seems 5-10 mil too much.

He' barely played. This time last year it looked like we had overpaid for Ox and Robertson. He could be a mainstay in our midfield for the next 5 years in which case £40m will seem a bargain.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
I think from what we have sen of Klopp is that if he doesn't think a player is ready or can hit the ground running, he won't play them. Other players like Salah, VVD, Alisson, Mane have gone straight in but likes of Robbo, Keita, Fabinho, Shaq etc have been eased in. Clearly Klopp has thought he hasn't been ready and Gini & Milner have upped their game massively too so it's been great being able to bed him in.
Personally I did think he would go straight into the side, I think most of us thought him & Keita were made for our setup & we would line up with a new midfield early in the season. Obviously Fab hasn't lived up to his value yet as he's only played a few games but with him and Keita (both whom I expect a lot from) they have time to live up to expectations. Sooner rather than later would be nice though
I'm not saying he isn't but I still think 40 odd mil is pushing it. Fred shouldn't be the barometer.
waht should be then? we paid less than Gylfi to Everton, OScar, Lemar, Di Maria, Ozil, ALex, Jorghino, Fred, Keita, Pogba........ the list goes on, To be honest in todays market £39million is a snip
I expected that comment from someone who hadn't watched Monaco. Every game for Monaco
Bakayoko stood out like a sore thumb among good footballers. Obviously Chelsea scouts paid as much attention as you did.

He was an absolute passenger.
The standouts were Mbappe, Fabinho, Lemar, Mendy and Bernardo Silva.
