    Noooooooooo Buzzo. Not you too?

City are pretty sh*t ATM. De Bruyne will strengthen them no doubt, but we should have nothing to fear.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Obviously I’d be happy with a win! Beyond that I’m not sure what actual influence I have?

First bit of good news on the injury front for a while. Hopefully Rhys Williams will be playing like VVD by then and he can play in his midfield slot.

Just mean the defeatist attitude. Usually you're a bit more positive.

Matip or Fab will play the city game I would guess.

Hopefully Thiago is available too, so him, hendo & gini with the normal front 3 & we'll be fine

They have some injuries too: Aguero, Jesus, Fernandino, Mendy and Ake all currently injured.

They're not exactly in great form. I think we still have a mental edge over them and I think we can still beat them.

Surely having some doubt is allowed (especially against City)? We don’t want a forum of happy clappers and cheerleaders.
                Another MASSIVE game

I think there is already plenty of 'doubt' on here.

And I wasn't being entirely serious, if Buzzo thinks we'll get beat 5-0, that's up to him. I was just surprised by his post.

Mental edge? Don't think so as beaten us 4-0 in last game we played...
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

That was a nothing game, City's forte.

Despite their brilliance, City aren't great when under pressure or if things don't go their way.

                        Thats true.

It surprised me a bit also. I'm still coming to terms with Virgil being out, and the 7-2.

When I think of a midfield with Thiago in it, I feel a lot more positive.

Agreed! We need to beat west ham and then City is a free swing.

If we do beat west ham, the city game will be a must win.... FOR THEM! If we were to win that too they would be (at least) 8 points behind! It sounds familiar to the game against them at anfield last year!

Yes we have some problems at the moment, but city have bigger problems, I reckon we should be confident! But first, we just need to worry about beating west ham!
                          I don't tip

International break comes at a good time I suppose. Would have been nice to have him back for the Ata and City games but even West Ham will be difficult. Important to have Matip & Thiago back asap

Yep, exactly this. They're bottlers when it really matters, they prove it time and time again in the Champions League. They don't always do it, but as RedReet says when things start going against them, they're well capable of crumbling.
