Same, he dropped into some nice positions and they instead played a more conservative pass.

Yeah that 2nd goal would have been the icing on the cake for him but yeah he should have buried that one too. Pleased for the lad and he should definitely be seeing more game time over the festive season.Originally posted by Mr Pink View PostIt was a pity he didn’t bury that chance in the second half too!
Think it will do wonders for his confidence though, hopefully he can build on today’s performance and use it to become a bit more comfortable in the teamMe, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Lovely finish, can't really remember too much from him apart from the goal but definitely was an improved performance and maybe a confidence booster, you could see how much that goal meant to him.Last edited by danperkins; 20-12-20, 08:51 AM.

Bit harsh, think he's trying to do too much. His work ethic is excellent but he keeps dragging himself or getting dragged out wide and into stupid positions where he ends up fouling someone rather than the player that should be fouled.
He's got a great first touch and he turns well on the ball, he definitely needs more time and games. In his defence he's hardly getting a look in so what else can he do?Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I feel a bit for Minamino because he's been brought in when the team has been pretty ****e. I can't fault his effort but I can't see how he improves our midfield. His first touch is generally pretty awful as far as I can tell.Originally posted by danperkins View PostI'm going to say it, he's looked ****eExperimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Bit harsh. He does seem to foul a fair bit, but that's largely because he's very mobile and in faces. There were a couple of times when salah misplaced a pass to him and he had to tackle to try and get to it. But yes, his touch isn't always the best, but then maybe the cliche about 'match sharpness', or lack of, is true.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

He's being wasted out wide, its clearly not his position. Theres a good player in Taki, his quick little touches in and around the box are great when he's central (see assist for Gini and goal against Palace) but for some reason players never seem to pass to him and Klopp seems to send him out wide and Mane/Salah central."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Also his confidence looks rock bottom and i don't blame him. He had a good game against Palace, scores a great goal and then gets no game since then, even though the front three (especially Bobby) are in stinking form. Makes no sense.
I question Klopp's man management at times. He whinges constantly about the amount of games we have, but then doesn't use his squad until he absolutely has to. The injury to Jota was entirely on him, its cost us quite a few points now. If he doesn't trust these bench players then sell them all and buy players he does."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
