Pictures on fb of thiago on crutches leaving a Barcelona hospital, apparently having had an operation. The text suggests he's done for the season and very likely to be moving on.

We need to move this lad on. Lovely fella, crazy skills but ultimately too slow and too injury prone. Bye.

I wouldn't fight to keep him if the offer is decent because I don't think you can build a successful team around injury-prone players.

Yeah, be good for him to have that overlap with Thiago in the next season

He's a 'luxury player' in the current team however he wasn't at the time we bought him.

We should however be moving on from him.

I think he's a class above much of what we have in midfield... but sadly, that injury record and now needing surgery... he's just another Ox and Keita if he's out injured again. Doesn't matter how skilful or world class you are if you can't play.

I doubt we'll be able to sell him this summer after his surgery, so maybe he's kept within the squad for one more season whilst the new recruits settle in. He can play his cameos from time to to time and then we can let him go on a free next summer... like we seemingly do with most crocks, let their contracts run down and get nothing for them.

And who the feck are you of all people to call anyone the ultimate crock with that back of yours? You are a bigger sicknote than Chamberlain, Thiago and Keita combined.

Keita is like Colossus from the X-Men compared you, Rice Crispie man.

We had so much hope that this guy would be brilliant for us. He was going to add another dimension and help us unlock the low block teams.

It hasn't worked out that way. Class player but we don't have any other player like him..... So when he inevitably misses games with injuries, any momentum with the way we play is inevitably lost.
