He’s quality but unfortunately coming back from injury (again) - disagree he’s been a bad signing, when he has a run of games, he’s majestic. End of last season he was the biggest reason for our form. Such a marked difference in quality between him and the likes of Ox and Taki.. drop off is huge.

Agree completely. Just needs a run of games for consistency
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

That's a tough one, I would say that when fit he's in our first choice midfield and that there are other players you would be looking to move on first, but those players are unlikely to get you that kind of money. I guess it depends on the real financial position of the club, if selling him is the difference between us being able to bring in a top player who will be a long term option (e.g. Bellingham) I would say yes, if we have money put aside to bring someone like that in then it is probably unnecessary.Originally posted by Myo View PostHypothetical: off to the barcodes in Jan for 50 million quid (knowing that his valuation currently is definitely not that high)
Then reinvest ....
Yay or Nay?The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Probably too early for that call. Same question in March next year though after more injuries and would be a solid Yay.Originally posted by Myo View PostHypothetical: off to the barcodes in Jan for 50 million quid (knowing that his valuation currently is definitely not that high)

Yeah, because teams just queue up to buy our high waged crocks. [emoji16].Originally posted by memzey View PostHe’s a baller alright but seems too fragile for the prem and our way of playing. We might have to cut our losses at some point if he doesn’t toughen up.
I think we need an all action midfielder alongside him to get the best out. Someone not made of balsa wood. The kind Henderson used to be. He is definitely a great option on paper. Probably needs some games. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
