Thiago going wouldn't surprise me at all. It probably makes sense if Klopp wants to go back to playing a high energy, high octane midfield & Thiago just cannot exist in a system like that, his body just isn't cut out for it. I can't see us paying him €200k pw to be a filler in now and again. Ideally having someone of his experience and talent in the squad would be great but we aren't that flush unfortunately & might have to use those wages elsewhere.

Still all LFC’d up on his Twitter profile.

Apparently he never had LFC on his Bio.

It’s his last year of his contract isn’t it? (Sorry, can’t be arsed to read back). He’ll see out his contract as a bit part player imo.

Even more reason to kick him out!

Yeah this is the last year of his contract, given his age and the fact we are bringing in some new midfielders then I doubt it will be extended
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Unless they pay the cash, then i cant see it happening. Someone in saudi will offer him a few years and a lot more money. I wouldnt be surprised to see him do an Iniesta either and head to japan for a few years. Or the MLS.

However, that will probably all be there for him in 12 months time as well.

The issue i have with thiago is his injury record. As does everyone else. But the main issue with that is when he is out of the team, we have to play a different way because nobody else can do what he can. He is amazing and surely the likes of Mac and Dom will only develop better training with Thiago every day ffs
