I was speaking to my mate earlier. We work together. He called to check in on me because I had been quite abrupt with a few people on a call yesterday.

I have a low tolerance for idiots or politics generally at work. I guess processing the loss of Jota had removed what little fitters I have, so a couple of daft comments on the execution of a job we are planning were met with very blunt and agricultural answers.

I thought I had dealt with it quite well, but clearly it had an effect. Happy to have a mate who has my back at work.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Would expect no less to be honest. I imagine plenty of the players and others working for the club are already over there at today's wake as well.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Read on social media that the club is honouring the last two years of Jotas contract and establishing a fund for his kids

Love this if that’s the case

No less than we would expect, but in terms of his salary, I expect there is also a contractual element to it and the club have insurance to cover all potential liabilities.

Apparantly there are live streams at the church too but not sure if they are official/have permission from the families.

Footage of Ruben Neves last night in absolute bits during the minutes silence for his Club World Cup game in the US, having to be consoled. He’s then flown back to Portugal over night to be a pall bearer at the brothers funeral. Cancelo also looked to be struggling.

Lots of our squad past and present are in attendance.
