Sometimes it’s easy to forget he is only 24.

8 goals in 13 league games for Diogo. A stellar return which would be getting way more attention and praise if it weren’t for the genius of Salah.

Diogo averages just under 1 goal every 2 games since signing for us.

He's ****ing ridiculous. I must admit, I thought he was a good player at Wolves, but when we signed him I didn't get it. I didn't spot it! He's an absolutely ruthless assassin, almost Fowler-esque. I didn't see this coming. He obviously doesn't offer us what Firmino does in terms of linking the play, even the press, but goals are the game's most vital currency and he does it better than Bobby and better than most. Wow.

Yea his goals to game ratio is madness, if he keeps it up, he will be a top 5 scorer for the club I think.

Firmino drops deeper but Jota presses well too. So good to have 4 quality forwards.

I think he can and will improve his overall play too.

If Ronaldo had scored that goal yesterday we'd never, ever hear the end of it. Ridiculously good finish!

Been a fantastic signing, those numbers for us since he signed would have been so much better than if not for that injury too. It sometimes looks like the ball is not really under control when he's dribbling but his movement, runs and the positions he gets into are world class. Reminds me so much of the way Freddie Ljungberg used to play, so hard to pick up. Much like Mane imo they both are at their best in the box when they play on instinct. Deserves his starting place even when Firmino gets back, just offers more imo.

Mane’s movement to create the space for Jota was also brilliant.

I just feel the front 3 flow better when it's Mane/Jota/Salah, if one doesn't get you the others will. Ridiculous numbers we are putting up. Bobby can be brilliant when he's on form but we have rarely seen that in recent times.

I think it depends on the opposition we are playing. Bobby is brilliant for when we play those teams where we really need to press up high and where we won't expect to have a lot of possession.

Just to echo what Shaggy said above, I don't think any of us were that excited when he was announced. It came out of the blue, he wasn't really linked with anyone really and then it was announced for something like £45m. At the time if you asked most people who would we like to sign from Wolves, a lot would have said Raul Jimenez......or Ruben Neves......or maybe Adama Traore. Well our stat-men data-geeks obviously know their ****.

I think his pressing has definitely improved in the last year as well. Bobby is a world class operator at pressing the opposition - probably the best for LFC since Ian Rush in it - but Jota has come on leaps and bounds as well.

The comparison with Fowler isn't a bad shout either. He strikes the ball clean and hard and seems to get a high proportion of his shots on target. And as someone else has said, he is only 24 years old. In 3 or 4 years he should be amazing if he can keep progressing and stay fit and healthy.

The other thing that is helping him this season is the midfield behind him. Henderson and Thiago last night were both good - just ****in clued in - the link between our midfield and attack - and our full backs into that too. It's just clicked right now. We have still been unlucky with injuries this season but nowhere near compared to last year.

Salah is a machine and has 11 league goals already this season. Jota and Mane and tied with Vardy for 2nd at the moment - all on 7 each.

Has any team had 3 players who have scored 20+ goals each in a premier league season???? That would be ****in amazing.

Salah, Mane and Jota - non of these players were ‘high profile’ signings.

We signed them all for reasonable fees that at the time raised an eyebrow or two but all of them have turned out to be absolute bargains!

Bobby has been good as well this season. He was amazing vs Man U and got a hat-trick vs Watford. He was on form right up until his injury.

                                We are spoiled for choice.

It's a squad game and all of our lads seem motivated, we will soon have the option of rotating the front three. Even Ox is coming on and keeping it simple - not trying to over do it and prove himself which is making him play better.
