Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s definitely worth keeping AND getting game time where the opposition fits (and as a sub for the last 10mins of certain games).. but it wouldn’t surprise me if his stock is now too high for us to keep him.

We should kjeep him until we know the fitness of VVD Gomez and Matip. After all not oine have them ahs played a game yet. All three could be unfit for the start of the season.

He suits us just fine in some circumstances. He's adapted to playing from the back and to carry the ball. He just happens to be very adept at playing deep as well.
