Yeah would be surprised if he and his young wife/GF fancy going to the Middle East, but who knows.

Think Nunez might be the type that would back himself to rebuild his career again in a proper league and not in some Mickey Mouse league (albeit a money laden one).


What I am sure of is that any of him, Jota or Diaz, for differing reasons, are very replaceable within our team/squad imo.

Gakpo would have made that list but his performances this season (after being moved back into the position he plays in for the Dutch NT) have surely made him a part of any future plans.

Yes, but there is a bit of a theme developing with Darwin, don't you think? I mean everyone expected Jota to do better, hence the disappointment. I doubt anyone expected Nunez to finish that golden chance. And he didn't. But you would expect a good forward in half decent form to get close.

Same as a later chance to go round the keeper - he just kicked the ball into the keeper and then fell over after trying to run in a straight line. Granted it happened very quickly but it all demonstrates that he does not have a finisher's instinct. Personally, I'm done with him in the sense that I no longer expect him to get any better. I don't think he can.
