Unfortunately if you want to play at the highest level, for the best teams... you need to be technically proficient and if you want to play as a striker for LFC, you have to be composed and be ruthless when the chances come.

Haven't changed my opinion on Nunez from the get go, he ll score some goals and work hard for whomever he plays for but he lacks the composure and technique to be a top level striker in the premier league. So in short, he's not good enough.

I bet that Nunez transfer still haunts Klopp! He wanted autonomy over transfers at Liverpool and got it, but the Nunez transfer would have possibly haunted him, given the hefty transfer fee.

I doubt it - not his money and he would probably still play him more than Slot.

I don't get it, given that the fee was more like 60 plus a load of add ons - some of which have been met - 70 pretty much gets us our money back and we'd turn an accounting profit. I think the reality of it is we bought him off the back of 1 great season (34 goals in 41 games) thinking that he was someone who would stay at or close to that level, when in terms of goalscoring that was a one off season and his level under Klopp was back to where it was before that season.

Since Slot came in the change of system doesn't really seem to suit him and his performances/stats have dropped off.
