All well and good, but how many has he scored in training and 5-a-side?Originally posted by Buzzo View PostApparently the big man is 6 goals and an assist in 7 games he started and has scored in each of his last 4 starts. Wait until he starts playing well
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was a lovely header, movement and the positions he gets in are great. He did also miss an open goal. I think he will chill out at some stage when that initial pressure fades. That sending off set him back and heaped so much negative attention on him.
Hendo's pass to Mo was sublime, Robbo's corner kick was perfect & Salah's through ball to Elliot was brilliant. Assists from a mid, a defender & a forward was is great to see. I don't think Darwin a technically gifted guy, his touch and passing will let him down on times imo. I think he has that Suarez agro and madness in him to get into spots of bother and that dive last night was a bit embarrassing. What he does have though is that energy and drive to score goals. He doesn't stop and you can see the visible frustration in him since he arrived when things aren't going his way or he is making mistakes. I do think he will score alot of goals though, if the service is there. The same thing with Mo, they lads up top just need consistently good service and we will score a lot of goals.
The main problem we have is that Darwin, Jota & Diaz all play their best football from the left hand side.

I see him as a 25 goal a season striker.
I dont think he is in the Salah/Suarez/Torres tier in terms of technique and ability, but if he learns to make the most of his pace and strength, He can probably push the 30 mark.
I think its important to understand he is just a cog in the machine, and the three points are all that matters. He seems to be settling and offers us something different to Firmino, Salah, Diaz, Jota and Carvalho. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
