The good thing is he seems to get 4 or 5 scoring opportunities per game.

Just needs to become more prolific. If we start playing with him as a target man it is going to affect the number of chances for Salah I reckon meaning he becomes more of a provider.

Good to have options. Just need them to start getting goals.

Bobby in good form also now.
    Modifying post.

I'm not worried about him in the slightest, he'll start knocking loads in soon.

I believe he will soon be banging in match-winning goals for us as opposed to what Haaland is doing for City. Match-winning goals are where strikers are worth their weight in gold to any team. It's only a matter of time before it all clicks for Liverpool as the coaches are working hard to get it all together.
It's alright getting hattricks every game when it doesn't make any difference (goals scored column aside) in routine 5-0 wins on a regular basis. Haaland seems to be a flat-track bully at the moment but let's see if he's doing the business against the big teams or being found wanting.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Haaland would be more valuable if he scored fewer goals.

Haaland scored both goals against West Ham. The equaliser and the go ahead goals against Palace. The opening 3 goals against Forest and the goal to take the lead vs Villa.

That’s a lot of decisive goals, he isn’t just topping up scores.

He's only turned 23, moving to a country whos language he can't speak.

All of preseason flying over all Asia/Europe hasnt helped the settling in process.

He's unsettled as **** off the pitch, New dad in Jan, his dogs have been stuck in Portugal, only just moved into a house. Nevermind adjusting to all the football stuff.

I think he needs to up his physical game to cut it in the prem. He's not as powerful or dominating as I expected. Doesnt help the team is all over the shop as well.

many factors alright & getting sent off and losing him for 3 games was the worst start possible. He will get ample time and loyalty under Klopp to prove himself but it is very obvious to see that he is all over the shop of the pitch. Frantically running around, panicking on the ball and snatching at chances that usually he probably bury in his sleep. He is trying to hard and it does seem like he is a man who is under pressure to perform. Smashing them in at Benfica is all well and good but when you play for LFC, the level and expectation are through the roof.

It hasn't been good for sure but one thing I would say is that even though he is playing poorly, he is "still" getting goal scoring positions. He just needs to chill out a bit and play his to his natural instincts.

Not really his game to be wrestling CBs and dominating back lines physically though.

From what little I have seen of him he seems to be more akin to how the likes of Cavani played when younger but a bit more pace. A wiry sort of strength when needed but preferring to lose markers with lots of runs so he can keep getting into attacking/shooting positions over and over during games.

Whereas the likes of Haaland has freakish strength that can match almost any CB that he goes toe to toe with so he can go touch tight and make shooting room through overpowering his marker, but also has the pace and awareness to make/exploit any space if a back line stands off of him.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

some good points alright. He should be using that pace so as not to be getting into physical battles with huge CB's that he cannot win.

He took a season to settle in Portugal so I think a bedding in period was to be expected.

Still think we overpaid by about £30m though
