His part in the first goal was impressive. Picked up the ball near the penalty spot. Played a quick one two with Salah. Then took off like wild horse up to the edge of the box and clipped in a great ball for Salah to finish. Special mention to T Rex in goal, wtf was he doing

He also hit two raking cross field passes - I didn’t know he had that in his locker. My hope is that it took him a year at both Almeria and Benfica to find his feet and then he exploded, he could go the same way with us. Yeah, he has stamina and pace for days. I've no worries about him although he does look as raw as **** on occasion.

I think the problem is we dont attract the opposition up the pitch that often.He needs space to run in behind, and I dont think our style us going to see that happen that often (if we are playing well).

It also relies on us being able to soak pressure at the back, for which we have been awful this season.

That said he gives us a plan b, when we have had nothing but plan a for a while.

Still think money could have been better spent elsewhere.

Seems clear that Diaz will be first choice on the left and Gakpo will directly replace Firmino. That leaves Jota and Nunez slogging it out.

Played well yesterday though. I think we need to find a way to get him involved more.
