According to Who scored, all Nunez's offsides have been last 5 games, none in the previous 10. I suspected it was a recent issue, but didn't expect it to be that drastic.

Really needs to get this goal and start relaxing again.

I'd give Darwin a start tomorrow. I think it could be a great opportunity for him to find his mojo.

United probably a better confidence booster.

I'd be tempted to start both him and Gakpo against them, same as last year.

Playing with kids on a team with zero fluidity is a bad idea IMO, I think he’ll get **** all service - this is their biggest game of the year and will be keen to make a mark, we need Darwin so let’s avoid this

Not scored since Forest in the league. I’m not sure he’s good enough?
His touch isn’t great, his finishing is poor and other than running fast I’m not sure what he’s good at. He needs some time on the bench for me.

Yip i agree. In reality we will need him when Mo ****s off to Afcon but right now I'd prefer to play Gakpo up there for a few games.

I actually think Nunez could be more impactful as a sub too tbh.

I like him. But why the **** did he stop to complain about a ****ing penalty when the ball was still in play? He is dumb. I mean so was rushie so I don't think that's a barometer of how good he could be but at times he's infuriating.

He's certainly not the smartest striker that's for sure & no goals in the last 7 league games is not good reading. He'll have to step it up when Mo goes to the AFCON, as will Diaz and Gakpo. All have ability and some positive aspects to their game but I'm not really sold on any of those three players.

2 goals in the last 13 PL games, I believe.

He’s not good enough and I think he needs to be sold. The longer he stays, missing chances, the more costly it becomes.

The point about him being “dumb” is accurate too. He lacks footballing intelligence and it’s quite concerning. Yesterday, there was a moment in the second half where Salah (I think it was) played him in and Nunez had the option of heading towards the goal line, or cutting back. The latter was the correct option because there was no space the other way.

Of course, he chose the wrong option and it went nowhere. He’s a long way short of being good enough. He could develop but when you’re trying to win a league title, you can’t carry passengers and wait an infinite amount of games for them to come good. Running a lot and being passionate is the bare minimum. You can’t base a career at LFC on that alone.

He’s not the brightest, no. Got booked for kicking the ball away and then sarcastically claps the decision. Quite similar to Dalot’s red card

Yep, that was a spiffing moment of stupidity that could’ve got him sent off, on another day.

If you gave him a double-headed coin, he’d call tails.

I really wanted him to succeed but it it’s not going to happen.
