Thanjk you.

He’s not good enough and I think he needs to be sold. The longer he stays, missing chances, the more costly it becomes.
The point about him being “dumb” is accurate too. He lacks footballing intelligence and it’s quite concerning. Yesterday, there was a moment in the second half where Salah (I think it was) played him in and Nunez had the option of heading towards the goal line, or cutting back. The latter was the correct option because there was no space the other way.
Of course, he chose the wrong option and it went nowhere. He’s a long way short of being good enough. He could develop but when you’re trying to win a league title, you can’t carry passengers and wait an infinite amount of games for them to come good. Running a lot and being passionate is the bare minimum. You can’t base a career at LFC on that alone.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
The Nunez project will end when the season finishes. There's very, very little development to see. He'll be one of those players that a certain part of the support blindly back and defend to the hilt, those that fondly refer to him as "Captain Chaos", but the rest of us know now that in a season or two, he'll be plying his trade for some other mediocre european side and thats the last we'll see of him, except for the times when someone updates his thread with yet another comical miss.
It's a bit sad but probably that's the way he is heading. In a year I think we'll instantly know what people mean when they say somone Darwined an open goal in the same way we know what a Keita'd shot is.
People are over analyzing this lad, ****ing hell he's only been with us two seasons and barely gets a start.
Some people are going to look right cunts in a few years when he becomes the talent we know he is.

They'll definitely look like right silly boys when he smashes in 20 next season. And they'll post things like oh I'm so happy hes doing well didnt think he could do it but glad to be proven wrong! And I'll be there to hold you all to task with my rigid pointy finger, so you never forget your shame!
That was certainly not the prevailing view at the time. Go back to the threads and count the amount of time people were certain there were "world class players" in there. Somewhere. Always somewhere.

He barely gets a start because he isn't very good. He couldn't get his head around pressing from the front last season and this season it seems he can't get his head around contributing to a team and scoring goals. We're not the only team who have spent big on a striker and it hasn't worked out - United's equivalent is even more mediocre.
Hopefully we can sell him to a Spanish club, he can score his 15 goals a season there from 70 starts and we'll be singing songs about Osimhen.
