          Ricky on points.

If golden boy had the stamina to do what he was doing to pretty boy for the whole 3 minutes of rounds instead of just the 1st minute he would have ****ted him convincingly.

Ricky will not tire. He will be right in the pricks face for 3 minutes of every round. Mayweather will not be able to handle this.

Ricky needs to get in very close and use alot of body punches to win.
will be interesting to see if Ricky can successfully get that close to him regularly through the fight.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

              My favourite Manc.

              Well, 2nd favourite after Coogan.

After that, they're all ****ing ****houses.

Anyway, I think Ricky will get beaten on a unanimous decision but I've seldom wanted to be wrong so badly.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

TO be honest, I think them Mayweather odds are generous by the bookies.
Floyd is a natural Welterweight, Ricky is not, I think that will be a big factor.
One thing Mayweather isn't is a natural Welter. If anything Hatton will be the heavier of the two.

I know he has never been a Welterweight fighter all his career, only three fights or something like that, much the same as Ricky.
But, what I mean is, Mayweather has looked far more comfortable at that weight.

If that's the case then why isn't the fight at light welterweight where they would both be more comfortable?

Floyd is in the driving seat when it comes to bargaining and Hatton is pretty unstoppable at 140. Team Mayweather have done the sensible thing really in doing what they believe gives their fighter the best chance and having it at 147 and his last fight was at 154 though I dont think he'll be having many more at that weight.

+ PBF is a belt holder at 147, dont think he's got one at 140 now has?

147lbs is the weight that Mayweather fights at and the weight that he holds the WBC and Ring belts. His last fight was also at 154lbs while Hattons was at 140 so they're meeting in the middle.

The weight that Mayweather started is his pro career was Super-Featherweight but his natural fighting weight is probably Light-Welterweight because he struggles to bulk up to 147 and all the times he's fought at the weight he's weighed about 145 on the night of the fight.

Hatton boils right down to get to the Light-Welter limit and has to basically dry himself out to make the weight. When he steps in the ring to fight at 140 he normally weight around 149-150 so Hatton should be the heavier of the two come the night of the fight.

Hatton bulked up the wrong way for Collazo and his frame couldn't carry the weight as well hence the reason he was so sluggish. All the talk is that Hatton will prepare the same way he would for a fight at 140 with the only difference being that he wont have to dry out to make the weight. This should mean that Hatton is fighting at the weight he normally would come fight night.

You can't hold belts in 2 different weight divisions. If you are a champion at one weight and win a belt at another you have to decide which title to keep.

There's no venue yet so until that's resolved I wouldn't have thought there would be an announcment. Keep your eye on Hattons website and the Golden Boy Promotions website.

I must say that I still think Mayweather would be more comfortable than hatton fighting at 147lbs due to the number of fights he's at that weight compared to Hatton.
