. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I'd be taking a cheeky punt on Cavendish this year. He'll win a fair few stages I reckon.
Yes, he certainly could. I don't think having a punt on the fastest sprinter in the world winning the odd sprint is all that cheeky though!
He really is one of cycling's greats. The way he's going he could end up with a record number of wins in the Tour de France. It's a tall order but it's possible. He needs to win a few every year though, and you never know when a new sprinter may come along and when his top end speed may decline with age.
Sagan is looking amazing though. I can see him winning the Olympic road race, although a lack of support riders harms his chances.

Wow, you guys know so much about it and have so much to say.
It's a real honour for us. Thanks for dropping by.

We have many things to thank you for, the main one being that your presence here keeps alive the memory of the great RealPablo, despite the fact you are but a discardable husk to his fruit, a shadow of the man, a palimpsest, a false echo, a model from Legends in Wax, a half of Newton & Ridley, a pale imitation, a dummy, a fake.
I don't mind chatting about allegations of drug use by Armstrong. I've done it before and have expressed my own doubts about him.
But people who have nothing to say needn't bother saying it.

I've got something to say - Lance Armstrong has denied ever using drugs, but admits pedalling.
Very good.

Something like that happened to me not so long ago. I'd been riding hard, into a headwind, but for no more than 40 minutes. As I turned into a major road a woman (in her 30s, not as old the one in the pic) on a bike like that whizzed past and I followed her at about twenty metres behind.
Couldn't keep up with her.
