Thanjk you.

I've lost almost 2 and a half stone since January, but it's getting slower now, so I've started doing a bit of exercise and cut down on alcohol to keep it shifting. Before that I was drinking loads as it stopped me getting hungry - I know it shouldn't work, but it did.
I've got a bit stuck on 12 pounds lost. But then I never had two and half stone to lose as I wasn't so much of a lardarse previously.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Problem i have is when i try to do the abs exercises whereby you raise your legs and sit-up at the same time, i struggle to balance properly - any tips?
At least that would explain why I've been riding so badly.
Still, it's been better this week. And I lost another 2lb according to this morning's weigh-in.

well done mate.
My secret is huge stir-frys with a little rice or noodles in it - loads of veg and anything else that is healthy and low cal (beans, veg, mushrooms) with tuna or prawns. I add garlic, coriander, chile, curry etc to give flavour - don't add stir fry sauces etc as they tend to have msg in.
I also don't eat after 8pm. Just have a couple of bots of lager to fend off the hunger pangs.

Too much beer yesterday has knocked things back a bit.
I just eat loads of salad. It's quicker than stir fry but I'll give that a go I think.
I tend not to eat until midday, unless I'm doing exercise. I hate not eating in the evening and I'm not sure there's any truth in the idea that when you eat matters that much. It seems to me it's more about how much and how often.

salad doesn't fill you up as much and isn't as good for you as stir fry, unless you add cabbage, carrots etc.
I makes sense that if you eat late then you don't use the calories because you are asleep doesn't it? My sister has always been really into running and has fitness coachs etc, even studied for fitness qualifications and she's stopped eating after 8.30pm now. She is usually very sceptical about anything I say.
